Preparation and Recipes

While we don’t recommend freezing our meat, always follow safe handling and use-by or freeze-by dates. ALWAYS defrost in the refrigerator. Do not use warm water or counter defrosting. Our cooking recommendations emphasize flavor, tenderness and texture. Some recommended levels of cooked result in meat that is considered undercooked by USDA standards.

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs might increase your risk of foodborne illness. Young children, pregnant people, older adults and people with weakened immune systems should avoid raw or undercooked meat.
